Skipper's Story

Skipper is 8 months old, a terrier mix, and has been the most elite house guest. Fully house trained. Crate trained. Zero nonsense. 10/10 roommate. Would absolutely split rent if he had a job.

He loves:
• Other dogs (instant besties)
• Every human he’s ever met (no stranger danger here)
• Bones
• Peanut butter
• Being ON you

And when I say “on you,” I mean ON. YOU.

Skipper does not believe in personal space. He believes in emotional support via full body contact. If there were a safe and legal way for him to be surgically implanted into his human for 24/7 closeness, he would already be scheduling the procedure.

This boy is affection turned into a dog. He will follow you from room to room like a very muscular, very loving shadow. Cooking dinner? He’s supervising. Watching TV? He’s in your lap. Going to the bathroom? He has thoughts and would like to be included.

At 8 months old, he’s past the chaotic baby puppy stage but still young, goofy, and ready to grow up with his forever person. He just wants to love someone with his entire being (and possibly their skeleton).

If you’ve ever said, “I wish my dog was more obsessed with me,” congratulations. This is your moment.
