SKILLET's Story

Skillet is a large dog at about 55-60lb & he’s pretty tall with a thick coat. Skillet is an active/energetic guy who loves to run, play, and do all things adventure. He’s best with female dogs that can match his energy level and play style and he is good with children (though he may knock down really little kids). Skillet is very smart, he’s needs a bit of training but with consistency and routine, he can learn pretty much anything. We do not recommend Skilet to a home with cats. All dogs and puppies have: received age-appropriate vaccinations; been dewormed; been spayed or neutered; and if over 6 months have been tested for heartworm disease. Edmond Animal Services offers an adoption fee of $25 following an approved application, and is open for adoptions six days a week with the exception of 11 major holidays. City of Edmond Animal Welfare's Adoption Policy

Please come meet the many wonderful dogs and cats waiting for their forever home. You are welcome and encouraged to bring any pets you currently have to meet a potential adoptee in one of our "Get Acquainted" rooms. When you've found an dog or cat from our shelter that you want to make a part of your family, we will have you fill out an adoption application. If everything checks out on the application, the fee to adopt any dog or cat is $25. All pets have been spayed or neutered and have received all their age-appropriate vaccinations. Dogs will have been heartworm tested and cats will have been tested for FIV. We are located at 2424 Old Timbers Drive, which is in the City of Edmond Crosstimbers Complex. We're easy to get to - just go about 100 yards east of Covell and I-35, and Old Timbers Drive runs south, right next to Fire Station #5. We are open to the public Mon-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday Noon-4:30pm; Sunday 1pm-4:30pm.
