Skeeter Jettings's Story
Meet Skeeter,
This sweet boy is as warm and loving as they come. He is a social pup who thrives when he is around people and other dogs, especially calm, adult pups 3-4+ years old. Medium to high energy, he enjoys spending most of his time outdoors, exploring, sniffing, and soaking up the sunshine.
Inside the home, he is a total cuddle bug who loves to curl up close and be part of the family. He is crate trained and potty trained, though he does best with crate time kept to about 3-4 hours. He also feels more at ease when he has another dog buddy around while you are away.
Great with kids, wonderful with people, and happiest when he is included, this sweet boy is ready to bring love, loyalty, and many snuggles into his forever home.

A note from his foster:
He's about 35 pounds as of now and about 2ft in height.
Personality wise-he's a highly active puppy and spends most days outside and going on walks. He's fully potty trained and will go to the door and bark when he's ready/needs to go outside. He's been around my 2 older dogs and we've learned he's much more calm and in his comfort zone when around them (I would highly recommend he find a home with other dogs) as opposed to when he's on his own.
He's extremely self regulatory and if he's tired/needs a minute alone he takes himself to his crate to sleep (always with the door open, but that is his safe private space).
He does need some work on walking which we are trying to do but he's a fairly strong dog so that's one more thing to note. His growth has halted for the most part and we don't expect he'll get much bigger.
Social skills-great with children, and younger families. Could be a bit much for an older family/home, my grandmother was around him and his energy/strength was a little hard for her.
He is great with other dogs too (especially ages 2-5) and can match their energy pretty well.
Also is extremely food motivated

I am a cattle dog mix and I am currently in foster care.
