Her name, which means perseverance and strength in Finnish, couldn’t be more fitting.<br/><br/>Sisu was found on the streets of Puerto Rico suffering from severe mange, she was skin and bones, and barely clinging to life. Thanks to the compassion of rescuers who refused to give up on her, she was nursed back to health and shown that love can heal even the deepest wounds. Today, she’s a picture of resilience and sweetness.<br/><br/>She’s gentle, charming, and adores children. Sisu does well with other dogs, loves romping in the yard, and enjoys curling up in her cozy bed for naps. She’s crate, leash, and potty trained, and she loves going for car rides—always ready for her next little adventure.<br/><br/>She’s currently fostered by a dog trainer who has helped her continue to blossom and build confidence every day.
