Sissy - ADOPTED!!'s Story

ATTENTION SMALL DOG LOVERS!
This little cutie, named Sissy was recently rescued from a high kill shelter in KY. We were told that this little girl was extremely sweet and was found dumped on a back road fighting off bigger dogs. Despite this scary experience, she is GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS. Sissy is very sweet and just needs her chance. Sissy is wonderful with everyone she meets. She is good with respectful children. Sissy was recently cat tested and she did great but caution should always be exercised when introducing new pets. Sissy does have a high prey drive, according to her current foster mom. She loves to chase squirrels so would probably do the same with a moving cat.
Sissy came to us quite thin and foster mom is working on getting her fattened up a bit. She loves to eat so that shouldn't be a problem. She is doing GREAT with her potty training and has no problem with going into her crate.
SISSY is a fun-loving little lady and she needs a forever home of her own soon! She likes walks, belly rubs, snuggles, toys, playtime, other dogs and, of course, treats! Sissy would fit in well with an active family and would make a good hiking or jogging partner!
Sissy is about 3 years of age, spayed and current with vaccines. She recently tested negative for heartworm disease and is now on preventative. Unfortunately, she did test positive for Lyme disease and has been treated.
If you are interested in adopting Sissy, please complete our online adoption application at OneLifeToLiveRescue.com. We will be very happy to get you all approved in order to set up a "meet and greet". Sissy's suggested adoption donation is $350. Thank you for your consideration of a little, sweet, rescued dog.
