Sis's Story

Hi I'm Sis aka Lady Lovebug. My name is proving to be most appropriate as it seems I mainly enjoy the company of the ladies.
Since I can’t speak human, i can’t share the story of my past but something unpleasant surely had to happen along the way because I’m a bit terrified of men. I tend to bark quite a bit when I’m the company of a man. When I’m on a walk or in a public setting, I’ll greet a man happily and respectfully. For reasons I’m not sure of,when a man enters my home, I have a lot to say. So I’ll bark my thoughts at him.
In order for me to have a successful and happy future, a female only home is what I’m in need of.
If you're looking for a gentle companion to relax by your side, I could be the girl for you. If you’re looking for a true blue best friend, I will be just that! I especially enjoy getting belly rubs!
I don't know much about my life story or how I got with the wonderful folks taking care of me now except that I was found sitting in the corner of a porch in Philadelphia. There were some really nice humans who helped get my ticket to ride all the way to Bubbas Station.
I am approximately 2yrs old, 30lbs, (I’m smaller than I look), and completely housebroken.
I love going for walks and you'll love walking with me. I don't pull or carry on like a fool. I just walk on by like a lady. I do love to sniff all of the wonderful smells around me as I’m walking.
I am whole heartedly ready to find a forever home! I can't wait to share my heart and steal a little bit of yours with my sweet loving personality.
If you're looking for a bff, a fun loving, but calm companion who will remain by your side through all the sunrises and sunsets to come, no need to look any further because I'm right here!
If you want to learn more about me or would like to adopt me, please visit www.bubbasstationrescue.org to fill out an application. The rescue people will only respond to applications received, not just of inquiries.
