Sirius Black (Cutter)'s Story

**Homebody Introvert alert**

Hello, my SOCA name is Sirius Black but I go by the name Cutter. I was DNA tested and I am a mix of Schnauzer, Staffordshire terrier, and Boxer.

I got my Shakira wiggle butt hips from my boxer side, the loyalty and attention from my Staffie side and the wild hair from my Schnauzer side. I am an easy laid back adult boy looking for a not so active person. I am a querky introvert who prefers to co-exist with you and I will be a great for someone who just wants an easy companion. I grew up with kids and love them. Because I am a grown adult, I am fully potty trained and I love to hang out in my crate, its my bedroom. I will lay by your feet in the kitchen or the living room. I am a FOODIE and very treat motivated. I must brag about being a master treat catcher! I will do anything for a treat. I love the back and belly scratches.

Something silly about me: I like to rub on the side of the couch like a cat and sometimes I tend to rearrange the furniture when I do.

I am very respectful when it comes to furniture and spaces. Meaning, I do not attempt to get on the couch or enter places that I am not invited to, such as your bedroom. I am a low maintenence guy who's looking to be your one and only. I dont really need to go on walks, but I do prefer a home with a yard. Since I am a home body, I will to do my business outside and wait at the door to come right back in.

My adoption fee is $100 locally in Houston, TX and $250 out of state (includes travel fee and health certificate). I am up to date on all my vaccines, microchipped and neutered. Fill out an application at https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ

Saving Our Companion Animals - Fort Bend County's Adoption Policy
Our Adoption Process Before You Adopt: Any existing pets in the household of the same species should be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm prevention. All members of the household agree to the addition of the new family member, and you have sufficient financial resources to care for the pet. Verify that you have no restrictions regarding the number or type of pet you wish to adopt placed by your landlord, homeowner’s association, city of residence, or homeowner’s insurance company. Fees: Adoption fees help to defray the costs of exams, spaying/neutering, medical testing, vaccinations, microchip, flea/heartworm preventive medications, supplies, food and medical treatments on many pets we take into our care. Dogs – $350 Puppies (12 months and under), $250 Small Breeds, $200 Adults (1-8 years), $100 Seniors (over 8 years) Cats – $125 Kittens (under 1 year), $85 Adults (1-10 years), $50 Seniors (over 10 years) Variable pricing may apply for select breeds of dogs and cats. Out of state fees (includes travel health certificate and transport fee): Range from $350-$650. We do not receive any government funding, therefore, additional tax-deductible contributions are welcomed and appreciated. Process: Submit your online application (even if you haven’t quite decided on which pet you would like yet). Please be aware we do not necessarily adopt to the first family that applies, but instead strive to find the best match for both the pet and the family. It can take 1-3 business days for your application to be processed as we are 100% volunteer run. You will receive notification via email once your initial application has been processed. Complete a phone interview with the foster family or adoption coordinator. This is to further determine if the pet is a match for your family (or to perhaps offer a better fit). Allow us to perform a visit to your home with the pet to make sure the house is appropriate for that pet and to observe his or her interactions with your family and other pets. Complete adoption paperwork, pay adoption fee, perform sleepover (24 hours). Adoption is finalized. (Puppies cannot be finalized until final vaccinations and spay/neuter is performed) Cat adoption application: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=DCMHRQZT Dog Adoption application: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQ
