Sirius

Sirius and his brother were abandoned at a bakery. A friend of the rescue picked them up and reached out to us since they were extremely malnourished, had at least 3 different intestinal parasites, and each had a few wounds on their bodies. Thankfully, our Veterinarian and rescue leader quickly got both of them on their way to healing.<br/><br/>Sirius has an estimated birthday around 08/20/2024. He has beautiful black and white markings and we believe he is a pittie mix. He is catching up on his nutrition, growing like a weed and working his way through his puppy vaccines. <br/><br/>Since Day 1, he always had a very serious face (earning his name) but now he's much more playful, probably because he feels so great! Sirius likes little plush toys, climbing across a big bed, playing tug of war, getting picked up for hugs, and sleeping face-down like a cute little weirdo. He will give kisses when his foster mom says "pay your taxes!" before putting him down for a nap.<br/><br/>Being a pittie puppy means he's loyal, playful, gentle, thoughtful, smart, and, most of all, LOVING! His foster mom said he loves to play hide and seek and once you find him, he'll wiggle his butt and run to be chased! He cracks us up because he likes to check himself out in the mirror. He does well with nail trims and baths but make sure you snuggle him tight afterward because he gets the shivers!
