Sirius's Story

Broadcasting to all walks of life, all peeps in the adoption market and promising to be the best music to your ears in a while, Sirius is here and ready to bring CUTE to your day every day! Sirius <br/>is a young retrieve mix with the most expressive and adorable face and SO much fun to offer everyone. Sirius weighs about 25 lbs now with room to grow. He is tons of fun with people and other dogs and has been a quiet <br/>and well behaved boy who has already learned so much about crate training. Sirius will do best with regular activity as he is still quite young but can also chill with the best of them. He is suited for most homes and we dare anyone to be able to resist this face for long. A long battle we assure you! <br/>*Sleepover Feedback: "He rides well in the car, he laid down every car ride. During his stay, there were no accidents. He does great going out and using the bathroom in the grass. He does not like getting in the crate but once he is in the crate he does well. He slept in the crate both nights and slept throughout the night.<br/>Sirius loves to move and groove, likes to be rocked like a baby and loves ice cubes!"<br/>*Additional feedback: " Sirius was an absolute sweetheart! He seemed to lock into a routine really easily. He has lots of energy, making him a great walking/jogging buddy! He also did well cuddling up for some reading time! He has a very enthusiastic "sit" which was pretty adorable.<br/>**Hiking feedback: " Sirius was the BEST puppy on the trail this weekend! He is all puppy and all sweetness! He did great on the leash, he was sitting for treats by the end and took them very gently directly from my hand, he loved interacting with all the other dogs, and he always sat whenever cars drove by when we were walking on the road to/from the trail. He might have a very tiny part of kangaroo in him...he did like jumping / hopping around sometimes and LOVED hopping over logs on the trail".

Saving Grace Animals for Adoption's Adoption Policy
All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $395.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member. Our Adoption Request Form can be completed online at our website at https://savinggracenc.org/adopt/. An Adoption Request Form is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home. Sending an Adoption Form does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. If you'd like to donate to help cover the cost of care for these wonderful dogs awaiting new homes, please visit the donate page on our website at https://savinggracenc.org/give/donate-now/. Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
