Siren's Story

Meet Siren (aka Serenity).

This sweet girl has had a rough short life before she came to Dustin' Time Rescue. She is only 2.5 years old. She was found as a stray in Dallas. She ended up birthing some pups that were just the cutest puppies at the shelter. She was a great mama. Unfortunately she was placed in too small of a crate on a flight from Texas to Utah in which all but 1 of her puppies ended up passing away. The remaining puppy ended up having life-threatening issues and went to the ER.

Under the stress of the situation Siren became reactive and difficult, so we pulled her into Dustin Time Rescue. She needed time. Time for her hormones to relax and time to decompress.

She has opened up and flourished with us! She can have nervousness with new people in her home, understandably. She warms up quickly with the right energy and of course treats. She doesn't like aggressive energy and will thrive with someone who is understanding.

She is the goofiest girl with the cutest natural high-step trot when she gets excited. She does well with dogs and cats. She has been around other farm animals with supervision as well. She doesn't much care for toys. But treats- oh boy thats the way to her heart!

If you feel you are the best home for Siren, please send us an application!!! We will contact the most compatible applications to setup interviews, home checks, and meet and greets.
