Meet Siren! Siren just flew in from our rescue sanctuary in Turkey and is now in a foster home in Charlotte, NC! This sweet girl was found outside a Starbucks that Nancy frequents when visiting Türkiye. When the new law passed attempting to rid the area of street dogs, Nancy knew this sweet pup would no longer be safe and could not leave her there. Now this girl is ready to be adopted! Her scars tell a story of a previously hard life. However, you would never know what Siren has been through because she has such a calm, docile, and submissive personality. Siren is looking for a home that can help her come out of her shell with ALL the pets, treats, and praise. She promises to be your best friend in exchange for giving her a chance at a better life. Tattered Paws and Golden Hearts Rescue's Adoption Policy

Once we receive a completed application we schedule a Q&A call with the applicant to answer any questions they might have about adopting from us. Then an adoption coordinator is assigned to the applicant and they work with them to decide what dog would be the best fit for their home and lifestyle. Prior to being approved for adoption we complete a vet check and home visit and then finally schedule a meet & greet so they can meet the dog.
