Simone is an older girl who has some trust issues with strangers. When she arrived at the shelter, she was dirty, underweight and terrified. It took us a month just to gain her trust to take her out for a walk. She's obviously had a rough life before she found her way to the shelter where she met kind humans who treated her with compassion and love. You should see her with her human shelter friends - she's like a different dog - bouncing and smiling and playful.
