**Pics updated 2/6/09<p><br/><br/>Hi, my name is Simon and as you can see from my pictures I am a handsome little male chihuahua. When I was first taken into rescue it was thought that I might be a senior but my foster mom soon discovered that I am a younger guy about 5-6 years old - I just looked older because of my color markings. I weigh 7.5 lbs and I am on the slender side but I have really long legs and believe me, I can run really fast – and I love to go for walks.</P><br/><br/>Here is my story. About a year ago I got lost in a thunderstorm and I was taken in by a young couple who tried to find my family, with no luck. Unfortunately, they decided they just couldn’t keep me and turned me over to rescue so I could find my very own forever home. </P><br/><br/>So, here I am in rescue looking for my new forever home. I have been here since late summer and my foster mom can’t believe I haven’t been adopted yet because I am such a great little guy and I am so sweet. I am really a fantastic dog and love everybody and everything (but I do bark at cats when I first meet them). I love to cuddle up on the sofa with my person(s). I love to play zoom doggie with my foster friends in the backyard and chase squirrels. I am completely housebroken and run to the backdoor and whine when I have to go out to potty to let you know. The only thing I don’t like is going into the crate – I really don’t like to be isolated from my family so I would probably do better with someone that won’t crate me when they leave. I am also very smart and know some commands like, “out”, “down” and “treat”. I can hear my foster mom say treat from anywhere in the house - lol!</P><br/> <br/>I am completely up to date on all my vaccines and neutered so I am now ready to go to my new forever home.
