Simon's Story

My name is Simon. I like women, I don’t like men. Let me repeat that: I like women, I DON’T like men. I particularly like to sit next to a lady in her chair and nap. I’ll stay there as long as she does. I like to go for walks, but not long ones. I’m pretty small. I was born in 2021, and turned 4-years-old in September. I weigh about 12 lbs. And I’m mostly Chihuahua.

I was adopted by a lady in Feb. of 2023 and we were very happy together, but her health worsened and she was required to release ownership back to TCWN.

I’m living with my first foster and her other 5 dogs. I like it here, and I do like other dogs of all sizes, but I want to have my own home with maybe only one or two other dogs. I’m crate trained and house broken. Sometimes I have an accident, but do really well here because we have a pretty strict routine about going outside regularly. Sometimes, if we’re running a little late, I will stand at the door and make it known I need to go out.

I eat well, although, sometimes I’m not too hungry in the morning after just waking up. We go out soon after, and if I didn’t eat before then, I’m ready to eat when we get back. I’m always ready for a snack!! I don’t need much to entertain me; I do like a small stuffie now and then, but I’m not the best care taker of my toys—I tend to chew them up. I sleep in my crate at night (all through the night), but if I get the chance, I’d love to share my owner’s bed.

I am adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. If you are interested in knowing more about me, or want to meet, please fill out an adoption application at www.tucsoncoldwetnoses.com

My adoption fee is $275 with an additional $21 for PACC licensing. I am neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

*Applications to adopt: wwwTucsonColdWetNoses.com Home Visit / ID and Residence Verification is required. Compliance does not imply or guarantee adoption. Approval is the sole discretion of CWN representative(s).
