Simba is a 5-year-old male dog, a schnauzer-ish mixed breed. He is a loving and affectionate dog. He is athletic, friendly, confident, and curious about the world around him. He will try anything he is asked, and he is easy to train. He knows his basic obedience commands and a few tricks. Once Simba knows you, he will be by your side through anything. He is devoted to those he loves. After a full day of fun, Simba is happy to plop down next to you and relax, cuddle, and hang out. He is happily settling in his crate nearby. Simba would love a yard to run around and play with both his furry and human friends. He is good with other dogs but no cats. Simba is an energetic, healthy, and fun-loving pup. He is an adult dog but has the energy of a young dog, so he would be perfect for an active person– he would love to hike and run with you. We do a background check, vet check, and call the references the potential adopter has given us. Call the landlord if a potential adopter rents. There’s an adoption fee unless the bio says it’s waived, as well as a home check or virtual home visit. We can do out-of-state adoptions. If you currently have a dog and are applying for a dog who is with us, a meet and greet is also required.
