Hi, my name is Simba but I could have been named Tigger because I'm bouncy, flouncy, and fun! My life started out rough as my first human kept me chained up in their backyard without access to food, water, or proper shelter. I toughed it out on hot summer days and cold winter nights. A nice lady rescued me as temperatures were dropping into the teens, and a snowstorm was heading my way. She brought me to my foster home. I was REALLY skinny when I got there! She's given me plenty of food, water and supplements to help me grow into a strong and healthy pup! She has also worked hard to train me. I am potty trained and crate trained. I thrive on structure, consistency and mental simulation. I love playing games, going on walks, riding in the car, and cuddling up on the couch. I also love playing with other dogs and am friendly around other people, both young and old. However, I am more of a "dog's dog", if you know what I mean-I haven't met a dog I don't like! I hate to be picky, but I do prefer a home without cats. I am very affectionate. I would love a home with another dog I can be friends with or a human who is willing to be active with me. Someone who will take me on playdates every now and then. Bonus points for someone with a yard where I can run and play fetch! If you want an active, fun, well-trained pup, I'm your guy!
