Simba's Story
At around 2 years old, Simba is always wearing a smile, literally. Between his goofy grin and full-body wiggle when his tail gets going, it's impossible not to smile back.

He's the definition of a happy-go-lucky dog. Whether he's running around the yard with his dog friends, playing tug-of-war with his favorite toy, or stretched out on a raised dog bed enjoying an afternoon nap in the sunshine, Simba is simply happy to be living life.

When the fun is over, he's all about his people. Simba is incredibly trusting and affectionate. In fact, on his very first night in foster care, he slept belly-up without a care in the world. That's just who he isa dog who loves hard and isn't afraid to show it. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy, Simba is more than happy to fill that role.

He's also an excellent passenger and spends car rides snoozing peacefully in the back seat. At bedtime, he settles into his crate without a fuss and sleeps soundly through the night.

Simba is still polishing a few manners. He gets so excited to meet people that he can jump up or get a little mouthy, so hell do best with a family committed to helping him continue to learn. He's a smart boy who just needs a little guidance.

If Simba joins a home with another dog, he'd love a playful companion who enjoys wrestling, tug-of-war, and burning off energy together.

If you've been looking for a dog who will make you laugh, keep you company, and greet you every day with a smiling face and a wiggly butt, Simba is ready to meet you.
