SIMBA's Story

Meet Simba !! — a 12-year-young heartthrob who never got the memo to slow down. This affectionate, charming guy is a favorite of staff, volunteers, and foster families, and it’s easy to see why. Simba loves car rides, leisurely walks, and snuggling up close (he’s fully convinced he’s a lap dog). He’s housebroken, uses a doggy door, takes treats gently, and walks beautifully on leash. Calm, low-key, and friendly with kids and new people, Simba has even handled busy public events with horses, music, and crowds like a pro.

Simba gets along well with other dogs and made friends quickly in foster, though he can be a bit enthusiastic around food—easily managed with structure and separate feeding. He settles in the crate once comfortable and would do best in a cat-free home with no small critters. Simba is full of personality, love, and life, and he’s ready to be someone’s loyal golden-years sidekick. ????
