Simba's Story

Simba is a smart, sweet and handsome long haired boy who loves people especially his own people. For Simba a great and happy day is just trying to please and to hang with his people or family. Simba is housebroken, does not dig or chew and is crate trained. He gets very excited when its time to go for a walk but can be dog selective and can become defensive if he feels threatened. He does very little barking but is very aware of what is going on around him. He would do well with a companion dog or without one. He could also live with older children (teenaged). If you are patient and a stay at home person, Simba would love to meet you.

If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at information@coastalgsrsd.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
