Say hello to Silvie — the low-riding happy-go-lucky little lady! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Silvie is a ~1-year-old, 49 lb sweetheart who brings joy everywhere she goes. Found in a shopping cart with her mom and sisters (Goldie and Fiona, also in ELO's care!) she left her tough beginnings behind and has become the neighborhood favorite — known for her wiggly body, happy heart, and “piggy” excitement grunts (yes, she grunts... and yes, it's adorable). Silvie has such a gentle demeanor and leads with love. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>She's friendly with everyone — dogs, kids, strangers on the street — and greets the world with a wagging tail. Although Silvie could be a solo dog, her ideal home has another furry friend to show her she's safe! She truly gains so much confidence in herself around other dogs. She loves cuddles, taking inventory of her toy basket, and is always up for a walk. When her jacket comes out, she knows it's time to explore NYC like the curious little adventurer she is. Silvie is also completely crate trained - she sleeps through the night and can be left alone without a single peep. She will happily snooze until you're ready to get up. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Silvie can be a bit timid when big noises pop up, but she bounces back quickly — especially when she checks in with her foster for reassurance. She constantly looks to her person for approval and guidance, making her the sweetest little student who's ready to learn and eager to make you proud.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>Silvie's still a true puppy mastering house training, loose-leash manners, and the art of not using her mouth during play, but she redirects easily and just wants to make you proud. She has made tremendous strides with all 3 areas of improvement in her short time in foster care! <br/><br/> <br/><br/>She's looking for a forever family who'll celebrate her sweetness, guide her into adulthood, and show her she's finally home through gentle love.
