Silvie's Story
Meet Silvie

3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog

Silvie is a great girl who has worked on her trust issues and is ready to give her whole heart. She was surrendered by owners while pregnant with puppies, and understandably took some time to decompress and feel safe in her foster home. With patience and consistency, Silvie has truly blossomed.

She can be a little slower to warm up, especially with men, but once she trusts you, she is an all-in kind of dog—deeply bonded, affectionate, and devoted to her people. She has adjusted well to living with three resident dogs and would do well with proper introductions.

Silvie is protective of her home in typical cattle dog fashion, expressing herself with barking only. She's confident out in the world and has done great on leash, at the vet and groomer, on car rides, and even on outings to places like Lowe's. She enjoys a fun mix of fetch and tug and loves having a job to do or a game to play.

She is crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on leash, making her an easy companion for an active home that appreciates the intelligence and loyalty of the cattle dog breed.

Silvie is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will let her build trust at her own pace—and once she does, you'll have a best friend who is fiercely loyal and endlessly loving. MUST have breed experience.

Silvie is ready for her forever home—could it be yours?

Spayed, micro chipped, UTD on core vaccines, dewormed and heartworm negative
