She was surrendered by owners while pregnant with puppies, and understandably took some time to decompress and feel safe in her foster home. With patience and consistency, Silvie has truly blossomed.<br/><br/>She can be a little slower to warm up, especially with men, but once she trusts you, she is an all-in kind of dog—deeply bonded, affectionate, and devoted to her people. She has adjusted well to living with three resident dogs and would do well with proper introductions.<br/><br/>Silvie is protective of her home in typical cattle dog fashion, expressing herself with barking only. She's confident out in the world and has done great on leash, at the vet and groomer, on car rides, and even on outings to places like Lowe's.
