Siggi's Story

Oh, mama Siggi! It doesn't get sweeter than this squishy, squatty girl. Don't let the pictures fool you- she's pretty low to the ground and smaller than she looks.

Siggi is a bulldog mix who is full of love. She had a rough start- gave birth on the streets and then they all ended up in a local shelter. Once we saw them at the shelter, we saved the whole family and got them safe in foster. All of Siggi's babies have been adopted, and now she is waiting for her forever.

Medical: Siggi is now spayed and up to date on vaccines. She has a mild heart murmur and mild cardiomegaly. She went to the cardiologist who said there is no need for current concerns, and she does NOT need to be on medication. An adopter should be aware of this and follow up with a cardiologist if any symptoms arise. However, it is not currently affecting her life. She is Heartworm positive, but has already started treatment and will do great with continued Heartworm preventatives.

Don't let any medical scare you off: this girl is so happy, so fun, and so loving. She has done great in both of her foster homes with the other dogs. She is a good girl in her kennel, has been pottying outside, and loves to give kisses and snuggles. On the lazier side, she's a great house buddy. Now all she needs is someone ready to show this mama the future she so deserves.

Siggi is available in Houston AND out of state. Please fill out the application fully, noting your availability and plan to get Siggi from Houston.

Adopt mama Siggi at caitiesfosterfam.org/adopt

Its Meow or Never for Ferals, Inc.'s Adoption Policy
The adoption process involves a meet up with the cat/kitten and foster parent at a safe location, an adoption application online that needs approval, a contract signed electronically, and the kitty goes home. We have monthly shot clinics done by volunteers to complete necessary shots and if the kitty is not spayed or neutered, we will set up a date to do that when they reach about four to five months. The adoption fee for kittens is $125 and includes spay and neuter, rabies, three FVRCP vaccinations, two FeLk vaccinations, and microchipping. The adoption fee for teens and adult cats (over six months) is $75. We have weekly adoption events listed on Facebook and IG pages where you can also learn the kitten's history. All of our kittens are in foster homes usually with kids and other pets.
