This beautiful girl is Sierra<br/>3 years old<br/>Red heeler mix<br/>She's a beauty!<br/><br/>Sierra is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever met She's friendly to all with a wonderful temperament <br/><br/>Sierra has what is believed to be <br/>Myotonia congenita-ialso referred to as fainting goat syndrome.<br/><br/>Symptoms-<br/>Stiff, awkward gait,<br/>Difficulty rising from rest <br/>Enlarged muscles, particularly in the neck and limbs <br/>Swollen tongue <br/>Difficulty swallowing <br/>salivation <br/><br/>Getting to move around and being active helps to reduce the symptoms. Unfortunately living <br/>at animal control she gets limited activity and this seems to make her condition worse.<br/><br/>With proper management, dogs with myotonia congenita can live full and active lives. <br/><br/>If you could foster, Adopt, and tag any Rescue that might be able to help this girl please do.<br/><br/>The staff and volunteer love this little girl.
