Sierra's Story

Hello world, meet Sierra! She is a 30lb little spud who wants to make her way onto your couch. Sierra likes to play the sleeping game during the day. She is getting pretty good at it! Don’t let her couch expertise fool you though. Sierra likes to play and run around the yard. She can keep herself entertained but if you want to play with her, toss a toy, or use some enrichment toys, she’s game! She is a human lover and wants to cuddle next to you. Surprisingly, she is not really food motivated, which is definitely rare considering her Beagleness. She will pick at her food sometimes, so a feeding schedule is most suitable for this chonky girl.

Sierra does not require a kennel in the house. She does very well at free roaming, even when her foster mom is out. She is well versed in using a doggy door for all her potty needs. She is a pro window-watcher and will find a good spot by the ledge and just watch the passersby. When it comes to leash walking, Sierra does fine! She REALLY enjoys to stop and smell the roses, if you will. Her Beagle nose is activated on a walk and foster mom lets her do her Beagle thing and sniff. PSA: If you run into an ambulance on your walk or one drives by your house, don’t worry, Sierra will alert you by doing her own rendition of a siren cry. You’ll enjoy her performance!

Step right up and take this sweet potato home today and start living your best dog pawrent life! Apply to meet Sierra today.
