Sierra's Story
Sierra is a BEAUTIFUL 8 month old, red brindle pittie mix. Pictures don’t due her gorgeous, velvety, auburn coat justice! She also has piercing golden and green eyes that will steal your heart and make you give up some treats.

For a pup who didn’t have the best start to life, she doesn’t show it! The best part about Sierra is that the hard stuff is done- she’s spayed, up to date on vaccines, HW negative AND house broken and crate trained. Sierra is very food motivated and smart so she’s easy to train! She already knows “sit”, “shake”, “down” and “stand”. She’s working on “come” and “stay” with her foster family. Sierra is also learning to walk on a loose leash and is making great progress. She’s a great car rider and would love to go on adventures!
Since she is only 8 months old, she has typical puppy energy that she gets out with some good walks or running in the backyard with her foster brother. She would probably be a good running buddy once she is full grown! Sierra does jump when excited but she calms quickly with attention. She still likes to chew and loves her antler, bully sticks, and Kongs. She also loves a game of tug and to gut stuffy toys. Once she gets her energy out, Sierra looooves to cuddle and snooze on the couch with her people. Although she is generally very quiet, she makes her foster family laugh with her yummy noises when she eats, her snores when she naps, and her squeaky yawns- so endearing! Will you be the lucky family to adopt sweet Sierra?

---
To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html
