He is a very smart boy and knows several commands. He is housebroken and enjoys going for walks and regular playtimes along with a good amount of physical exercise. This boy is very active and enjoys being outside, but should be kept as an indoor pet.<br/><br/>Sid's current owner ran a DNA test on Sid which showed that he was 85% German Shepherd Dog.<br/><br/>Sid requires a handler/owner who is strong physically to control him on walks. Due to a high prey drive, he will pull very hard if he sees a squirrel, deer or another dog while taking a walk. So, if you are not physically strong, he could possibly pull you down or drag you around. Sid is a healthy and very smart boy, who already knows several commands, and would enjoy learning even more!<br/><br/>Sid's requests are simple ~~ a home with comfy beds and yummy food/treats, some cool and fun toys to play with, a large, fenced backyard to play in and people to love who love him in return! He doesn't think that's too much to ask. In return, he will give you his undying love and affection forever.<br/><br/>Sid may need to be the only pet in your home due his strong prey drive. If there are other friendly large dogs in the home, they should meet beforehand to ensure a smooth transition into a new home.
