Sid's Story

Sid says HI! This two year old pittie mix is one of a kind. We aren't sure what he is mixed with but whatever it is, it's 100% sweet, unique and absolutely perfect! Sid had his five minutes of Facebook fame after he was spotted for quite sometime running loose and alone in Puyallup. While many people tried to help rescue him, he was pretty scared of all the attention. It was the kindness of a local senior living facility and all the residents leaving out treats that lead him to be rescued and brought to a local shelter. Sid was shutting down quickly in the shelter though, it was too loud, too fast. We were called and we jumped at the chance to bring him into our PACK. And boy are we glad we did, Sid is thriving in his foster home! This boy just needed to decompress in a peaceful environment in order to let his personality shine bright!
Sid is a gentleman, sometimes he likes to let out a little hello jump but he would never jump on you. He respects personal space. Unless it's time for couch snuggles, which he LOVES. His feline foster sister really appreciates that he understands boundaries. Sid is gentle and likes to preserve his toys, he carries them around and gives them little nibbles but he's not a fan of shredding them. Want a dog that is amazing on a leash and loves neighborhood strolls? Sid's your guy! He loves to go on quick adventures and has amazing leash manners. He is an easy going, go with the flow personality that just loves to be loved.

We think he wouldn't mind having human siblings but he prefers older children (12+) that have more predictable movements and behaviors. We are still dog testing this amazing boy but we do think he would do well with a confident and calm canine companion.

Sid is being fostered in Fircrest Washington and will be available for adoption after 12/12/2025, just in time to be home for the holidays! Thank you for considering Sid, he is so ready for his forever home.
To apply for Sid's adoption please visit
wwww.packgives.org/adopt
