Sid's Story

Hi, my name is Sid........or Sid the Kid, Sid Siddington, Darth Siddius, even Insiddius Rex if you will. Yes, I know my kennel mom is so embarrassing with all of her nicknames! It all started when she first picked me up from the local police department. She couldn't help but notice that my head was always tilted to the side, earning me the nickname of "Sid".

My friends at the vet hospital took some pretty pictures of my head, checked my ears, and even tested my blood with their ouchie needles and it turns out there are no medical concerns causing my head tilt - it is just one of my many cute quirks :) The staff here suspects that I was never introduced to other dogs in my previous home as I had a very difficult time settling into kennel life with my neighbors. I have been doing much better but am still not interested in sharing my new home with other dogs or cats.

I know what some of you may be thinking: "He's just another bully who doesn't get along with other animals and is not suited for a home with small children. Why would I adopt him?" Well I'll give you three GREAT reasons why. First and foremost, I am a very sweet boy who is also a fast learner. I can sit, give paw, and will even give hugs to my human friends. Second, I am a fun and energetic fella who loves to play and also sing what mom calls my "whale songs". Third, I am absolutely adorable. I mean seriously, have you seen how heckin' cute I am? If you don't think I'm a cutie pie you must've missed my pictures at the beginning. Please scroll back up :)

I have been through a lot and no matter what obstacles life has presented to me I have always put my best paw forward and pushed through. Please help me find my forever family. Call the shelter and ask about adopting me!
