Sid's Story

Super sweet boy who came in as a stray. Loves everyone!
Approximately 1.5 years old.
Very loving, is a leaner. He is a smaller guy and weighs only 40 pounds.
Sid has been returned twice because he does well meeting other dogs outside the home and for short romps to play but when living in a home as he gets comfortable over several days he does get jealous of another dog getting attention and overcorrects the other dog. Because of this, he would do best in a home as the only permanent resident. He loves to cuddle with you on the couch, and he does great living with cats.
Sid is housebroken and knows sit and place. He is also crate trained.

Montgomery County SPCA's Adoption Policy
At the Montgomery County SPCA, we are dedicated to finding responsible, forever homes for all the pets in our care. To that end, we have created a thorough adoption process which helps us achieve this goal. This process includes a check of veterinary history records on any pets you currently have, and a home visit. If you rent your home, we require written proof (letter or lease) from your landlord that you are allowed to have pets. We undertake this kind of thorough review to ensure that animals who have already been discarded at least once will never have to experience this again.
