While she can get adorably excited first thing in the morning or after coming in from outside, she settles beautifully and is more than happy to curl up and relax once she’s had a little burst of fun. 🐾 <br/><br/>She enjoys her walks and is an absolute superstar on leash — no pulling, no fuss, just happily trotting along and checking in with her person like a pro. She’s still figuring out how to “dog” in some ways (toys are a new and exciting discovery!), but she’s starting to love chewing on bones and is learning that playtime can be pretty wonderful. 🐾 <br/><br/>Shyla gets along well with other dogs and confidently but kindly sets her boundaries. She doesn’t pay much attention to cats and absolutely adores kids. With new adults, she can be shy and timid at first — but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll see her gentle, curious heart shine through. 🐾 She’s crate trained and sees her crate as a safe space. She sleeps well through the night and rides nicely in the car. She is still working on her potty training and learning not to jump up when she’s excited, so she’ll need a family committed to continuing her training with consistency and kindness. 🐾 <br/><br/>Home life is still new to Shyla. The world can feel big and a little scary sometimes, but she is trying so hard and making progress every day. What she needs most is a patient, loving family who will guide her, reassure her, and show her that she’s finally safe. 🐾 <br/><br/>Her very best quality? She is an absolute love bug. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, Shyla would take home the gold. She would happily spend hours curled up in your lap, soaking up affection and giving it right back. 🐾 <br/><br/>Shyla would thrive in a family with kids, another dog or an active household that will include her in adventures and daily life — and then let her snuggle up at the end of the day. 🐾 She’s just young, learning, and full of love.
