Shyla's Story
IMPORTANT - If you are interested in adopting this pup, you MUST complete an adoption application at https://www.heartsandtails.org/adoption-app/ to begin the process.

Meet Shyla!

True to her name, this LITTLE girl is shy and timid when she first meets new people - but it doesn't take long for her to trust. And once she does, she is SUPER cuddly, sweet, and ready to be the best bestie you could ever wish for! At only 35lbs, she is much SMALLER than she appears in her photos.

This precious girl started out in South Carolina. She was found in a hoarding situation, where a kind woman helped her get the relative safety of a local shelter. Unfortunately, she soon learned there was abuse and neglect at that shelter and rescued Shyla, again, along with several other pups. Not all of the dogs were as lucky as Shyla, who eventually made it to Hearts and Tails here in NH.

She is now here at our shelter in Weare, NH, where all the volunteers - as well as the other dogs - have fallen madly in love with her! And although Shyla shares their affection, what she really wants is to find a forever family of her own, preferably with another pup to play with and learn from.

Shyla is 1 year old and weighs just 35lb - this is her adult weight and she's not expected to get any bigger. She's housetrained and crate trained, and she has a delightful temperament!

If you're interested in adopting this beautiful girl, please complete an adoption application on our website - https://www.heartsandtails.org/adoption-app/.

Please note that due to high inquiry volume, only applicants who appear to be a good match will be contacted.
