Shyla's Story
Who doesn’t love chocolate?!

Okay... now that I got your attention — Shyla needs a home!

Shyla is a beautiful chocolate Lab who came to us from a breeder. We’re guessing she is about 6-8 years old.

Shyla is an all-around sweet girl who absolutely loves spending time with her humans. She enjoys car rides, meeting new people, and just being part of whatever her people are doing.

She does well with other laid-back dogs and is currently living in a home with other dogs.
Cats are unknown.
She does not need to be crated when left alone.
She loves going for car rides and adventures with her people.
Most of all, she just wants a family to call her own.

Shyla could stand to lose a few pounds...but couldn’t we all? She’s got a little extra chocolate to love!

Shyla has been spayed, and while she was under anesthesia, we had three masses removed. Two of those masses came back as mast cell tumors. Due to the location of the masses, it was difficult to obtain good margins when they were removed.

This means Shyla’s future adopter will need to keep a close eye on her for any new lumps or masses that may develop and have them checked and removed as recommended by their veterinarian. We want her future family to be fully aware of her medical history and prepared to continue monitoring her moving forward.

Shyla doesn’t know anything about pathology reports — she just knows she’s ready for a family of her own!

This beautiful girl has finished one chapter of her life and is ready to start the next one — this time as a beloved family member.

If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing chocolate Lab to ride shotgun, hang out on the couch, and be your new best friend, Shyla might just be your girl!
