Shy Guy is a stunning 2.5 year old Australian Cattle Dog mix who was rescued in 2023 from a very cruel situation in Jefferson, Tx. After a great deal of TLC was given to him by staff, volunteers, and his foster family, he has turned into a very playful pup and has gained so much confidence! Shy Guy is friendly with other dogs and tends to be very submissive. He is learning his house manners and is already crate trained. Shy Guy has been neutered, microchipped, and is currently on yearly vaccinations. SPCA of East Texas's Adoption Policy

Adoption Requirements: All animals in your home MUST be spayed/neutered (absent medical reason). All animals in your home MUST have current Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Bordetella vaccinations. All dogs in your home MUST be on continuous heartworm prevention. Adopters MUST be at least 21 years old. Larger breed dogs MUST have a fenced yard to allow for proper exercise. 3 Easy Steps: 1. Complete an Adoption Application online. 2. The Adoption Counselor will reach out to you by phone or email. 3. Once your application is approved, a Meet & Greet will be set up for you to meet the pet(s) at our office Tuesday – Saturday.
