Shooter's Story
Meet Shooter, the little survivor with a whole lot of charm. This sweet pup has been waiting since October for someone to notice just how wonderful he is. His story started in a ditch where he was found all alone with no one in sight until a kind person scooped him up and brought him to safety.

Even after everything he’s been through, Shooter has stayed unbelievably loving. He greets everyone like a long-lost buddy, he’s convinced he’s a lapdog, and he thinks playtime is the greatest invention in the history of the universe. We believe he may be a hound mix, so he will likely grow into a medium or large sized adult.

The holiday season has a way of making puppy fever kick in. Just remember that pups are a forever commitment. Shooter deserves a family that will love him through every goofy puppy day and every nap-filled senior moment down the road.

If you would like to meet Shooter, stop by during open hours. He would be thrilled to wiggle right into your arms and show off his charm.

Shooter weighs 36 pounds at 5-6 months of age. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and have tested negative for heartworm disease in shelter.

Located at the Brownsville Haywood County Animal Shelter in Brownsville, Tennessee. The adoption fee is $75. We have no pull fee and can help arrange transport for local 501c3 rescue groups. If interested in this dog please call 731-772-2908, we would love to hear from you!
