Meet Shiva – A Brave Mama with a Gentle Heart <br/><br/>Shiva is a 2.5-year-old, 20-pound pup with a quiet soul and an incredibly strong spirit. Though she may be shy at first, beneath her reserved nature is a loving dog who has already shown extraordinary courage and devotion.<br/><br/>Shiva’s story is one of resilience and motherhood. She was found living on an empty lot, where she bravely gave birth to and nurtured nine puppies despite having no shelter or security of her own. Thanks to the compassion of a kindhearted woman, Shiva and her entire little family were brought to our partner, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue, where they received the care, safety, and love they so deeply needed.<br/><br/>As a mama, Shiva was attentive, patient, and deeply nurturing, and that gentle, motherly nature shines through in everything she does. She is great with other dogs, good with cats, and exceptionally gentle with children—calm, watchful, and loving, just like a true mama. Shiva thrives in peaceful environments and with kind, patient humans who allow her to build trust at her own pace.<br/><br/>Now that her puppies are safe, it is Shiva’s turn to be cared for. With time, consistency, and affection, she will blossom into a devoted companion. She would do best in a calm home where she can continue gaining confidence and learning that she, too, deserves comfort and love.<br/><br/>Health Details<br/>Shiva is neutered and microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested (negative), and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. She is healthy and ready to begin her next chapter.<br/><br/>We would love to find Shiva a forever home where she will be nurtured, protected, and cherished for the rest of her life.
