Shiloh St Marys's Story

Meet Shiloh!

Shelter staff were able to find his owners when he came in as a stray, but unfortunately, they could not afford his medical care and made the kind decision to surrender him to the shelter.

Shiloh has a heart murmur and a deep chested cough. He will need a follow up with a primary veterinarian to see exactly what is going on, and how to move forward. Despite his medical issues, Lucky doesn’t seem to be bothered one bit! He greets everybody he meets with a waggy tail and that classic beagle “AROOOO!!” He seems to love other dogs and has lived with children.

After an initial vet visit, we found that he really needs his teeth cleaned and he has mild clouding of his eyes, but nothing serious. Ears are good. The vet would like him to gain a couple of pounds. He seemed to enjoy the ride there and had fun smelling everything. He is a sweet guy.

He gets along swimmingly with his foster brother, Patrick!

Shiloh's Webpage - (copy and paste)
https://beaglemaryland.org/2025/10/03/shiloh-10/

Adoptable Dog Webpage: https://beaglemaryland.org/adopt/

If you'd like to adopt one of our beagles:
*Go to our Website https://beaglemaryland.org/
*Review our Standards for Adoption - https://beaglemaryland.org/adoptionstandards/
*Fill out an Adopter Profile -
https://beaglemaryland.org/application/
and submit it to us through the site (or print it off, fill it in and send it via regular mail, if you prefer)
*A BRSM volunteer will contact you to guide you through the rest of the process!

We hope to hear from you, and so do the beagles!
