Shiloh's Story

Shiloh is an 6-year-old, 30 lbs, American Staffordshire/Terrier mix with the gentlest soul and the sweetest eyes.

This beautiful adult/senior girl has come such a long way and continues to show us every day just how resilient and loving she truly is. When she first came to the foster home, she was very fearful, but after patience, time, respect and love, she opened up. Shiloh still needs someone who is going to be patient with her in a calm home setting, who is willing to move at her pace and help her continue building confidence little by little.

*My Needs*
She would do best in a very quiet household with another calm, gentle dog to help her feel safe and secure. Shiloh thrives with slow and steady routines, soft voices, kindness, and understanding. She isn't the kind of dog who will instantly open up overnight, but when she does, its incredibly special.

Underneath her timid nature is the sweetest, most loving girl who simply wants to feel safe, protected, and loved. She deserves a family willing to give her the patience and compassion she needs to continue blossoming.

Shiloh has already overcome so much. Now all she needs is a forever home where she can finally exhale and know she is safe for the rest of her life.

Slow intros to other dogs. Fostered with 2 other dogs (both males). Foster doesnt recommend her going to a home with a cat since her behavior towards cats is 50/50. Good with adults (not with young kids). House-trained. Low-to-moderate energy. Spayed, vaccination current. On EN Pruna Proplan low-fat diet. Loves her daily walks and chills next to you most of the time. Non-destructive when left alone.
