Shiloh's Story
Shiloh is homeless. He is alone and lonely. His "crime" was not liking to share with a new puppy brought into the house after his being "king of his castle" for 6 years. Were they properly introduced, time and energy spent to make sure they each knew the boundaries and proper manners? No, it was easier to ban Shiloh to the backyard. Can you imagine being a house dog for 6 years, being part of the family, enjoying life and then stuck outside and left alone. It made them feel better about the situation by feeding him too much but food does not equal love and make up for what was done to him. He is very overweight and needs a lot of exercise. He is young at heart and just wants to be loved. Shiloh needs extra TLC because of the disruption of his world and would do better in a home with an older child, a quiet happy home. Please help Shiloh find the forever home he deserves. If you have any questions or would like to meet Shiloh, please email. He is not at the shelter. The shelter is so full, there isn't even room there for him. Shiloh was an owner surrender 8-27-06. He came all the way from MN because a relative could no longer stand to see Shiloh living the way he was and brought him to us because she knew we would find him a new home that would love and appreciate this little guy.
