Shiloh's Story

Looking for your new best friend and playmate? Meet Shiloh! He loves to run and play outside. If you're strong enough to beat him in tug-of-war, you might get rewarded with the best sleepy cuddles! He is also a landscape architect in training and will provide a thorough assessment of your yard and dig lovely symmetrical holes strategically placed throughout for maximum tripping impact. (It's to keep the bad guys out, he promises.)

Shiloh has never known an enemy though. He loves every person he meets, even ones that poke him at the vet. No one will ever wonder if he is happy because he is usually smiling and wagging his tail just hanging out with people. He will go ANYWHERE. He loves a car ride to the park, a hike in the woods, or just a jog around the neighborhood. If he's a really good boy, he might beg for some chicken nuggies or a pup cup.

While he is usually happy and lovable, he does have some anxiety. Loud noises and unfamiliar situations can be very scary for him. He likes a nice calm environment with a bone and a soft bed where he can chill out until the sound of the mailman freaks him out.

While Shiloh loves people, he plays a little rough, so he really shouldn't be around children as he might forget his manners and jump on them. He is also a bit reactive to other dogs and afraid of most other things that move, so he would do the best in a house where he can be your sole focus and only pet! Don't worry. He will cuddle you plenty enough that you won't need anyone else!

If you have a calm home and lots of patience for a big goofball, then Shiloh will be your best buddy! He may be big and look tough, but he loves so deeply that you won't regret looking into his sweet eyes everyday!

Shiloh is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption
