SHILOH: $0 Adoption Fee!'s Story
Hi, I'm Shiloh!

Approx 5 yrs young | 55 lbs | Mixed Breed

I was found as a stray, and while the kind people who found me loved me, they couldn't keep me. Now I'm here at the shelter, and I'm hoping my forever family finds me soon.

A little about me:

• I'm super sweet and love making new friends.

• Treats? Yes, please — I take them ever so gently.

• I walk to and from my kennel like a lady — no reactivity toward the other dogs.

• I haven't had a single accident since arriving (potty trained and proud of it!).

• I've met cats and didn't seem to mind them one bit — I mostly ignored them. I recently met another dog and did very well overall! At the end, I gave a little “too close for comfort” nip but stopped immediately when redirected. The staff says that means I'm likely dog-selective — I can be tolerant and polite with some dogs but prefer to keep my space. With the right match and an experienced handler, I could absolutely have dog friends.

Spayed, Heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Adoption fee is $100.

Shiloh did test positive for Lyme disease and has completed her 28-day treatment. It is recommended she stay on flea/tick prevention year-round and receive a Lyme vaccine annually.

Spayed, Heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. If you already have dogs at home, they must attend the meet and greet as well.

If it's a good fit, you may be able to take your new best friend home the same day!
