Shilo's Story
Sweet neighborhood dog that lived his first 7 years on a chain. Now he's Off the Chain, and loving life. He's a cuddler and will show you his toys or bones to say, "thank you" and you can still make out a grin and flowy tail; he's really proud to show you his stuff. It's super cute!! He's not like a lot of dogs that tear up plushy toys. He will lay on them and lick & nudge gently the toy.
He's about 7 years old, healthy, alerted, heartworm negative, microchip & his shots.

He makes you yearn to cuddle up next to him and rub his belly. As long as no one bothers him, Shilo gets along with other dogs. Has a light amount of resource guarding due to the little dogs that were allowed to live inside the house would run up and steal his toys. So he'll give a side-eye & a low growl if he's playing with his things. He's not a bad with food. He just doesn't want the other dogs to steal his toys. He's having to learn that everybody gets something so that there's nothing to argue over or guard. Poor Shilo never had anyone work with him being on a leash or any obedience skills, currently. But, these are all part of his training plan.

Sweet, senior. Calm energy, and is always seeking your attn. Leash walks will be good for him if he wouldn't stop to sniff every 5ft. He's never had that opportunity to explore his environment.
