While her looks may catch your attention, its her sweet personality that will steal your heart.<br/><br/>Shiera can take a little time to build a bond with new people, but once she knows you, she is incredibly affectionate, loyal, and loving. She isnt fearful of everyday activity and has a confident, steady demeanor. During construction work around her foster home, she didnt bat an eye, happily went about her day and got a few pets from workers.<br/><br/>She is friendly with other dogs and tends to have a submissive personality. When meeting new dogs, she can be a little shy at first, but once she realizes theyre friendly, shes happy to join in and make new friends.<br/><br/>Shiera is currently thriving in a foster home with other dogs, cats, and young children (8 years old and under). She has done wonderfully with everyone and has shown herself to be a respectful and adaptable companion.<br/><br/>Like many intelligent working breeds, Shiera is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She enjoys training, enrichment activities, puzzle toys, scent work, and other mentally stimulating games. That said, she also has a calm side and is perfectly happy to lounge around the house, nap, and simply enjoy spending time with her family. She has a wonderful balance of being ready for an adventure when asked but also content to relax by your side.<br/><br/>Shiera would thrive in a structured home with consistent boundaries and leadership.
