UPDATED 4/29/2026 Hi! My name is Sherman! I'm a male terrier mix puppy! My mom is a fox terrier. The vet thinks I was born on 12/18/2025. I weighed about 21 pounds on 4/17/26 (at 17 weeks). It's hard to say how big I'll get at this point in my young life. I'm a very sweet & cuddly boy! I'm a busy boy who loves to play! I adore other dogs! I will need to go to a home with at least one other dog. The other dog provides me with a sense of security. I'm working on housetraining in my foster Home & making great progress! I'm up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines. My forever home will have me neutered at the age recommended by their vet. Anyways, I'm looking for my forever home! Are you it?? I will not be attending showings. PA Kennel License #4068

Nittany Beagle Rescue's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog & Nittany Beagle Rescue! We are a foster-home based rescue. We hold showings on the 1st & 3rd Saturday of the month at Lyons Kennels in Bellefonte, PA from 11am - 1pm. You can meet some of our dogs then! Please email or send a PM on our FB page if you want to know if a particular dog will be at the showing. If you are interested in a particular dog, or a type of dog, please submit an application to foster or adopt (it's the same application form). Once you have an approved application for a dog, we will connect you with the dog's foster parent. Typically the potential adopter & foster talk on the telephone first. Then if the dog seems like a good fit, we arrange a personal meet & greet.
