Sherman's Story

Sherman is a 5-month, 9-pound Terrier/Chihuahua mix puppy who is chock full of personality and fun. We expect he’ll be 10 – 13 pounds when fully grown.

Sherman’s absolute favorite thing in the world is attention from his person/people. He loves to be held like a baby cradled in your arms. If you are not paying sufficient attention to him, he’ll put both his feet on you for Uppies so you’ll pick him up and give him the cuddles he so richly deserves.

Sherman doesn’t just love people—he loves other dogs as well. He lives in a foster home with 8 dogs and 5 cats, and he gets along with all of them. He loves zoom, zoom, zooming around the backyard with his doggie friends. He likes squeaky toys, but his very favorites are crinkly toys.

Sherman’ housetraining is underway, though you should expect to have to finish the process. He will go on potty pads. He has no aggression and shares well with others. He is non-destructive, except for making off with the occasional sock. He rides well in a car and is not barky.

Sherman would love to be in a home with another dog to run around with. He would make an excellent family pet and will do well with children 7 and above. (He would love a few rambunctious kids to play with.)

Sherman is neutered, has all his shots, and is microchipped.
Note:
We always respond first to inquiries that tell us something about your living situation (house, apartment, single, family, etc.) and why you want this dog.
