SHERMAN's Story
Sherman is a very special little man. We rescued him in August of this year with an adopter lined up for him. He was returned to our rescue recently due to his medical needs and adopter wasn't able to properly care for him. He is estimated to be around 10 years old. He seems to do best as an only dog. He is in a foster home with other dogs and he stays away from them and doesn't seem to like them coming close to him. He will need a patient owner in a home without small children. He will snap if grabbed at or nervous. Once he is used to you, he does fine. He is currently on kidney care prescription food as he was determined to have early stage kidney disease but has improved since being put on the kidney care food. This little man deserves a special, quiet loving home. Cat friendly unknown. His adoption fee is $200 and adoption application required. He would do best with someone that has experience with dogs with kidney disease and can respect his space and boundaries.
