My name's Shenzee--named after the beloved hyena from The Lion King because I've kind of got hyena ears. All the better to hear you with! I've had my fair share of time here at the shelter and I'm more than ready to take on the next adventure. I. Am. Booorrreeeddd. Don't get me wrong, these APF guys are trying their best, but what I really need is a active home where I can really work and be challenged! I've got little to no sense of self-preservation so wherever you go, I'll follow! A mountain hike, a dog-friendly grocery store, a park, a car, the pool, the beach, a boat (I absolutely love the water), probably even the pits of Hell because I'll be your ride-or-die rest assured. My friends here at the shelter think I may be mixed with Belgian Malinoise which attests to my energy level, high-intelligence, and confidence. After getting out my energy, I love to relax with a good hearty chew-safe bone to wind down next to my favorite people. If you're not a wuss and a smart enough human to match me, please break me out-- I mean adopt me--right here at the APF!
