Shena's Story

Shena and her siblings were an unwanted litter of puppies born on a farm in a rural town we help. A neighbor asked us for help, because the puppies weren’t being cared for. We were able to save them because one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home. Shena has been in our care since she was 5 weeks old, and she has completed her veterinary care. Now she’s ready to find her forever person.

Shena is a social and playful girl. She likes everyone she meets and gives puppy kisses. She is almost house trained and learning to potty outside. She is crate trained and leash trained. She loves other dogs and has been with children as young as 6. She is 11 weeks old and weighs 15 pounds. We think she’s an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and her mother weighs 49 pounds.

Shena is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Shena can arrive in New York on 3/14. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the application found here: https://throwadogabone.org/adopt.

We respond to all inquiries.
