SHELBIE's Story
SHELBIE Kennel Card: 04152024L-D1

Shelbie is a 50lb, Female, 1 1/2-Year-Old, Staffordshire Terrier. This sweet girl was found as a stray by Delano Animal Control on April 15th, 2024. Shelbie is a very sweet girl who was shot as a puppy :( She will forever have embedded bullet fragments in her shoulder, meaning she will always have a slight limp. Nothing stops this girl though! She is happy, healthy and friendly!! Shelbie was tested with multiple dogs and tested very well in a group setting. Shelbie was tested with male and female dogs ranging from large to medium sizes. Shelbie showed zero signs of aggression and enjoyed playing with her new buddies in our doggy play yard. Shelbie has been Spayed, has received her Rabies vaccine, DAPP Vaccine and is Microchipped.

At the time it is unknown if she is house/crate trained. Dogs are NOT tested with children and cats; her behavior towards children and cats is unknown. She is available for adoption/rescue as of 4-20-24. If you are interested in adopting her, please contact the Delano Animal Shelter or inquire below on Petfinder for more information. If this is your dog, contact the shelter as soon as possible. If you have any questions, please call 661-720-2244 or e-mail us at acontrol@cityofdelano.org
