Shel was surrendered to our shelter for no fault of his own. He took some time to grieve and kept very quiet at first. After a week or so, he began to warm up to the staff and seek attention as we walked by his kennel. Now he is showing his young energy, runs in our play yard, seeks the company of other dogs, and enjoys a game of fetch.<br/><br/>Shel is 2 years old. He has a beautiful shiny coat and a muscular, athletic build. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has been friendly to everyone he meets. We believe that he'll soon be ready to bond again with another human or humans, and become a loyal companion in a loving home. We can send you a copy by email, you can download one at fopcp.org, or we can arrange a time to fill one out over the phone. His neuter expenses are fully covered at Boonesboro Animal Clinic in Winchester, KY. If you prefer to have his surgery done at a different location, we can apply part of his adoption fee to the surgery expenses. Neutering is mandatory. <br/><br/>The shelter accepts cash and checks. Credit card, Pay Pal, or Google Pay transactions can be made through a QR code to the shelter.<br/> <br/>We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
