Sheila's Story
Meet Sheila (3 years old, ~45 lbs)<br/><br/>After her owner passed away, she and Colt were surrendered by family.<br/>Sheila brings youthful energy and a loving heart -- she loves being pet, adventures, and cuddles. She is really improving on her recall, as she has a tendency to explore. She loves greeting new people with the sweetest, goofiest puppy body language - ears back and body wiggly.<br/><br/>Sheila is:<br/>– House trained<br/>- Crate-trained <br/>– Friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented<br/>– Kid-friendly — Sheila *really* LOVES kids and would love a family with children she can hang out with — she’s especially a girl’s girl <br/>– Dog-friendly, but for dog siblings she'd prefer brothers<br/><br/>Important notes for their safety and success:<br/>– No cats or small animals<br/>– Very tall, secure, non-climbable fencing required, or long leash-only exercise until her recall is perfected/bond is built<br/><br/>(She has been working on loose leash walking and recall already!) <br/><br/>Sheila thrives with routine exercise, companionship, and engagement. She really loves walks and hiking as well and hanging out with kids. Sheila really is all warmth, earned loyalty, and spirited personality.<br/><br/>As with all of our dogs, their adoption includes group training classes, which help reinforce safety, strengthen their bond with their people, and support a smooth transition into their new home.
